Biometric scanner rewards for each card. If you get Plat, you can buy both your guns with the $, have your perks and equipment, plus random vest, field upgrade, and kill streak. Find a loadout crate and you’re fully set just with just a silver, or with silver just find $3k and buy both your guns.

Personally, didn’t bother with these at first and thought they were just another gimmicky useless addition. Now I grab my card almost every game. Silver seems to actually be the most common from my experience, and if you happen to find a loadout crate when you land you’re fully set with your perks, equipment, and weapons as if you had just grabbed a loadout. If you don’t find a crate, then you just need to loot enough money to buy your weapons ($3k if you got the silver card) and you are still fully set as if you grabbed a loadout.
To clarify – every Bronze-Plat card also seems to fill your ammo reserves, and the “Free purchases” are for anything at the buy station, so you could buy 10 loadouts if you wanted, or a couple loadouts, some kill streaks, muni boxes, etc.
To use the scanners, just go to one on the map and interact, itll take a few seconds and spit out a card (using the scanner with a teammate nearby increases the chances of a better keycard), then take it to a buy station and in the bottom right you click on the keycard icon and itll redeem your card for the listed rewards. You can also use other players cards if you happen to kill someone who has one and loot it from their body.
