Training in alley is a faster, and safer, strategy. There are exactly two points where Zombies can come from with the gate door closed and it’s easy to plot out how to navigate and train them up. On stage they can come from a multitude of points AND you have to deal with Nova Gas zombies which can disorient you if killed incorrectly. Idk why people are still using the stage in 2024, it wasn’t even a good strat in 2010.
Edit for OP: I’m not sure how far into this round you were and/or how many power ups you had up to this point, but a few things to consider:
1) The ThunderGun makes power drops in BO3 and you still had 9 shots in your TGun. There was no reason to go and flip the trap in a situation that you weren’t even in immediate danger. If you were mid-round, you still had two Death Machine gobblegums. Put yourself in a corner with one point of entry and mow down the hordes as they come if you don’t have any more potential drops that could be a Max Ammo.
2) There are EIGHT points of entry onto the stage where the player is at. Two windows, the Nova spawn next to the box, the dressing room area, the two main staircases up to the stage, and two jump spots up onto the stage next to the staircases. There are nine, if you open the door that leads to M8 room. This leads to a multitude of spots with which you can get caught unawares and trapped. It is never as simple as “run in a circle” on the stage.
3) There are exactly TWO points of entry when training in alley next to the gate that leads to the M8 room. It is a bit of a smaller space, but plenty of space to train a full horde, if need be. You only need to learn how to make crescent-shaped cutbacks. In the early 50s you can even get away with killing half of a horde with each TGun shot and still having ammo by the end of the round.
4) Going from stage into the dressing room area when you weren’t in danger was just not a good move. Say the trap hadn’t killed you. You now have to deal with Zombies coming from spawns that are ahead of you that will cut off your escape into Speed Cola room. You can’t jump back through the trap if you take a single hit from a zombie because that’s a down and a game over anyway as well. You should’ve veered to the left and taken your chances with any stragglers on the other side of the stage at that point.
I don’t say all of this to be “elitist”, I’m genuinely trying to help. Stage is not, and has never been, a good place to train.

I don’t get it in the past zombies games you could go through the electricity with jugg but in bo3 you can’t why is that

I’m assuming this was the first time trying this trap this run. That’s a lot of high round killers, getting bored and doing something that gets you killed
