I *did* get a green bar lobby after blocking a bunch of EU players, but 1/2 the lobby was yellow and it was as laggy as anything else I’ve seen this month

I’ll do some more testing when I get back on later. There was a server/matchmaking thing a few years back and the workaround was blocking all players with different color bars and searching again until you eventually end up in a good lobby. The game was a lot more populated back then and you don’t want to block so many ppl that you can’t find a match at all

I can confirm that I’m now able to connect to at least 1 NA server. Roughly half my matchmaking attempts still put me in EU lobbies. Lag is tolerable in the NA lobbies so long as it’s mostly NA players… more than 2 or 3 yellow bar players still kinda sux

On PSN US Southeast region. I’ve now tested it on ps4/ps5 with different psn accounts, 2 different internet lines, all DLCs installed/no DLC installed, and with several geo-filter settings.
**Best lobbies so far: PS5/wired/fiber/no-VPN/all-DLCs/polygon geo-filter around all of NA**… if I tighten the filter to Eastern US, or even US-only (excluding Canada/Mexico) wait times get noticeably slower, even when I end up connecting to a server only a couple hundred miles away. In regular TDM I waited almost 15 minutes for a match with strict geo-filter to around the closest server. **No geo-filter at all obviously gives the fastest matchmaking**, but it’s a coin toss whether I get a laggy rainbow bar lobby or an ok NA lobby with mostly green bars. Once it matches me with a lobby, backing out, waiting trying to search again, will keep putting me in the same lobby forever as long as it has an open player slot, or unless I block someone in that lobby or block that server… Weirdly, one time I did end up in what appeared to be a peer-to-peer lobby.
**TLDR The servers are basically what they were over a month ago, but the NA player base has thinned out considerably which makes sense**

Ooooooooooh that makes so much more sense im new to the game, it was weird i thought I was playing with someone Role Playing with perfect German, i guess he was just German. Personally I like playing in EU lobbies, more people to meet!

With it being busted so long a lot of American players left so fewer American lobbies. Try tonight when less European players are active. Slay some pussy to keep you occupied until then. Also, I found blocking players didn’t do much. I play mostly ffa and there’s one a lobby or two open so you can’t avoid people anymore.

If there is no nearby server avaliable to join it just throws you into the first lobby its finds. Thats why your in 2 bar lobbies but the servers are completely fixed now. You may be having this issue because your playing a less populated mode. Tdm should have no issue with us lobbies
