Depends on where you live. Even then, money can buy you a plane ticket and a new house in an area with decent internet speed.

if you have enough money more or less any connection is possible…

  3. Jarsyl-WTFtookmyname

Depends on how much money you have. Just set up your own non-profit ISP.

  4. kumikanki

If you have enough money you can buy a satellite or a company that sells the internet.

I mean where I live if you want a dedicated fibre line that goes FAST, you can. You just pay for all the work.

  6. Helicopter_Strong

well no, but technically yes. you can just buy some devices/huge ass cable and connect them and badabing badaboom, you got very fast internet

  7. Grouchy_Advantage739

Depending on where you live, you can get pretty cheap gigabit broadband

Trust me when i say even the apes of OPEC. If they want fiber they will pay for it. Even out in the desert.

  9. Lucilla_Inepta

This hurts because it’s so relatable

Money can buy faster internet speeds but I get the point you’re making.

  11. Professional_Gaping

Easy, just buy a house near Google’s headquarters, money solved the internet speed problem right there. Money can buy happiness, but not internet points, take my downvote.

Moved in a new little apartment 950+ 150 for electricity and water , 50m2, up to 25gb fiber but decided to only go for 10 since the equipment would have been to expensive. So yeah I actually saved money by „beeing reasonable“

Greetings from Switzerland, we are kinda spoiled here

here in my area we have 700 megabit internet for $25/month. it’s also quite reliable. and i don’t even live in a large city (18k population)

So during the black Friday week, I got a deal for unlimited data for the same price (mobile phone contract btw).
My phone now functions as a 5g router in my apartment.

  15. Salt_Customer

I’m glad i live in a place with 5g cellular network. Paired with unlimited data it’s pretty dank.

  16. Puzzleheaded-Mind240

Oh you’re wrong. Nobody said anything about it being expensive. We were paying 30 a month for sky ass shit internet 23 mbs peak/ then we switched to virgin full fiver gig1 and now we get 1.3 gigs on average with Ethernet. And because I have an o2 sim I get double the mobile data I had before as a perk

  17. Asleeper135

It certainly can, it’s just that in some places it would take **A LOT** of money

  18. Justifiers

Money can, in fact, buy internet speed

$78,000 was the quote I got

    No, I don’t have fiber 😔

  19. hardlyreadit

1000% incorrect. You can move to a newer location with newer infrastructure, you can pay to add the infrastructure yourself, you can kit your house with ethernet and fiber. Like im trying to understand how you think money cant buy basically anything

  20. mckdnrnd

I mean it kinda can though no? I spend more money, I get more speed
