    tiles and ceramic surfaces have very small and sharp points, when these small sharp points encounter tempered glass, they can concentrate a lot of pressure into a small area, resulting in the glass shattering.

    First off make sure it’s up off the ground permanently, at least a foot on a small stand. You are going to get more dust down there.
