Should COD Zombies go back to having some “comically bad” guns made like that on purpose just to mess up with you, or should everything be at least viable?

I’m for the comically bad because other wise the mystery box is too good of a deal in early rounds

I personally miss the feeling of getting a shitty gun out of the box, to then do the unthinkable and hold onto it to pack a punch it to see what it turns into.

Jesus the SMR was so bad. Legit marshmallows.

Yes because back then the mystery box had worth and didn’t just make every gun good
StormyShelter999
I just want the mystery box to feel more unique map to map like in BO2 as some maps had exclusive guns like MotD has the Uzi and AK-47 and Origins has the Skorpion EVO and KSG instead of every single weapon in the games existence being in the box

Back when camo challenges didn’t exist, fine. Nowadays hell no.

I like having some guns that are straight up garbage. I understand that in terms of replayability, it makes way more sense for all of them to be good, but I dunno. Cold War’s guns all sorta blend together for me, cuz they’re all in their same tier of good/bad, mostly. Shotguns are the meta, AR’s and SMG’s are pretty good, snipers suck, there isn’t really one gun in each class that’s super better or worse than the others. And I really only group guns based on what class they are, not the guns themselves. Whereas BO2’s gun lineup for instance is a lot more memorable because there’s just some shit that sucks in every class. Again, it’s 100% better to make everything at least alright, especially when doing camo challenges, but I dunno, I miss having the three specific guns in each game to make fun of lol

Any gun in BO3 could be a wonder weapon besides the Ray Gun and pack a punched starting pistols which ironically back then were some of the best weapons.

Absolutely, and loadouts for zombies need to Gtfo. Part of what made round based zombies so addicting and great was the decisions and the opportunity costs you had to evaluate. Roll the dice and hit the box or take the safe route and buy an SMG off the wall? It has certainly lost some of its charm by being able to just start with whatever gun you want and/or having more or less total parity between the weapons

Let me put it this way:
If you think putting bad guns in for the sake of having bad guns to troll the players, while also having challenges associated with using said guns (including camo challenges), is a good idea, then you should consider a different career path. One where frustrating your userbase doesn’t garner negativity.

China Lake is solid

I’m here for the comically bad guns, sometimes i like to mess around and challenge myself when I don’t have a full game in me

Springfield was so bad, easily the worse ever (the chance of a 2 shot headshot on round 1???) that said I didn’t mind the China beach, but the anarchy was better.
