    erm, not really…

    That’ll work, sorta, don’t get me wrong, but what were you actually trying to achieve?

    If you’re looking for a 150MHz overclock, just put it in the main screen… (if you then look at the curve, you’ll see that it has pushed up every point on the curve)… The card will find it’s own new equilibrium for temperature, power & frequency.

    If you’re looking for an undervolt, then:

    1) firstly play your game with the card set to stock settings… You need to monitor the GPU clock frequency after about 30 minutes of gameplay to find out what it’s steady state frequency is after it has warmed up during use… That is it’s steady state…. For example, my 3080 at stock, clocks to 2040MHz for the first few seconds, then drops to about 1950MHz for a few minutes, but fully heat saturated it finally equalises at 1890-1905MHz… 1905MHz is my target frequency for an undervolt.

    2) Now ***pull your entire curve up*** so that your desired lower target voltage now equates to that steady state frequency. *(just like the overclock curve looks like)*

    3) now ***drag every point to the right*** of your target-steady-state-frequency ***down*** again, and it will auto flatten the curve for you. *(it is worth realising that an undervolt is EXACTLY the same as an overclock, but is* ***voltage*** *limited, instead of* ***power/thermal*** *limited)*

    4) you can do a bit of an amalgum; My steady state was 1905MHz, but I actually targetted 19***50***MHz as my undervolt, which led to an in-game effective clock of 1935MHz… Both of which are a slight overclock on the stock steady state, but with a significantly lower power draw.

    So in my case, as a pure undervolt only (set to the stock steady state of 1905MHz), I can run 1905MHz @ 0.85V however I chose to actually run 1950MHz at 0.867V so that I am guaranteed to be getting the same if not slightly better performance than at stock. (Plus I run +300 memory too, of course)… Even at this slightly elevated frequency, I’ve dropped from 340W to around 175W-220W dependent on the game.
