I bought three CDs a few weeks ago. #neverforget
At least when a streaming service decides to alter or remove media, you’ll be unaffected for that particular movie/show.
I still buy ‘em, but just to RIP the music into flac files I otherwise can’t find to buy.

if the powers out for a whole night ill grab my external disc drive plug it into the laptop and watch me some 1990s action movies on DVD !!
Ripping Blu-rays right now. I thought this was was a HDD platter.
I will continue buying physical media, movies sound so much better with a nice surround setup.

I’m starting to buy more physical media these days. Mostly DVDs, blu-rays, and CDs, but I have taken an interest in buying VHS tapes as well. The nostalgia is also pushing me into it.
Here I am digging vinyl.
I mean for movies that’s still my go to for quality 4k downloads so fat and streaming lowkey sucks

OGs still listen to vinyl recods and watch their laserdiscs!
That cheap ass plastic disc is still more accessible than the internet is around the world including the US. Physical isn’t dead yet. It has an IV in its arm but it isn’t dead.

Why not, as there is plenty of space in a PC case
