River is so sweet during the various different endings—his dedication to making sure you’re safe and loved completely changed my view of him
I always romance him AND Judy because I like them both and am a sucker for romance, but Judy seems so cold to me in Nocturne Op55n1 and River is just a previous lil teddy bear by comparison

As a straight male currently doing a play through as a female V, I’m tempted to hook up with River. He’s fine as hell.
I truly believe that CDPR should have used River Ward as the one who gives us the NCPD scanner missions and those should have been structured like his two missions where he’s with you and you have to actually investigate them as well as turn in the evidence, which would have made it so that we have only heard his voice and name then when we she him on the BD we get a line from V “Oh that’s what River looks like” or something like that which could have added more depth to his character because we could have had options to ask him questions when we pick up the first NCPD scanner mission
River’s romance could have been awesome, but CDPR fumbled it so bad.
