V is a villain of other peoples story. They definetely arent hero, thats kinda point of cyberpunk its free for all pvp arena.

  2. SuperArppis

I’m totally a villain! I just kill and kill!

    I mean in the game.

  3. MigratingPenguin

They were already a villain in all origins, just maybe not a very successful one.

  4. Why? Cause he got talked into a sketchy gig, with an untrustworthy fixer, for a client with no clue what they were actually stealing? I mean, V made shit choices in the name of thievery. Just cause his choom got shot doesn’t mean he’s got some moral high ground to jump up on all of a sudden.

  5. erraticRasmus

I mean I don’t see how they’re a hero either. Their story is about saving themselves

  6. Bad_User2077

Not a villian. My V does more to make NC safe than the NCPD.

  7. gorilabals

If i ignore the countless innocent civilian my v has killed and that i picked every wrong decision in the game (kill everyone or hurt them in every possible way) then V isnt that evil.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain?

  9. DBringerStreams

My first V was nice and mushy but violent, 2nd was a pacifist. I tried not to kill anyone. My 3rd V is a villain. All decisions I made are either self centered, or poor.

Who said that they can’t be? I swear it’s like everyone forgets that this is a role playing game where you get to be the villain or the anti-hero of your own story

It’s cyberpunk. There is no hero or villain if no moral is left. It’s only about how you want to life your life and how you will be remembered. See you in the major leagues Choom.

How do you think all those cyberpsychos’ parents feel that you murdered their babies

  13. Anchiros-The-Maw

What makes you think they weren’t the villain? Even on a good play through, you butcher hundreds to thousands of people.

Vs already a villain at this point. V is wrong in this situation, they tried to rob Araska, got caught and murder like 2 dozen people who were just doing their jobs. Even if the Biochip is morally wrong, V didn’t do this for ethics and to take this evil tech from an evil Corp. They were doing it purely for financial gain.

  15. pointless2077

I think that’s what makes the game so much better. In All of my play throughs, my V has been a good person. I think it adds to the mental fortitude of V and shows that they aren’t just physically strong, but mentally strong too

I would say the best V can be on the standard 3×3 alignment chart is Lawful Neutral. At best they do good but it in bad ways, however they have their own code of ethics. But that’s Night City for you. It’s a sea of shades of grey. Even the most good and noble are still tinged with some unsavory history, which leaves no one truly “pure white”. Only light grey at best.

  17. The people V kills are usually monsters. I think anybody blasting Scavs and Raffen all day deserves a damn medal.

  18. Secret-Fox-9566

V was never a hero to begin with. There is no hero or villain situation in night city in the first place.

Just because you could, doesn’t mean you should.
