7800xt with 30-40C delta , 110C hotspot
its brand new gpu, i heard repasting might fix it,
can u recommend a good thermal paste ?
Using Kryonaut I went from 108C on my 6700XT to 78C..
Also you might wanna use washer-mod (4 plastic washers to increase pressure over the GPU core.. Polishing the contact area on the cooler with finest sandpaper can be beneficial too …

Are the fans working? I had a loose connector, the fans were no longer working and Temps shot up. The connector on my card was on the underside of the card (nitro+)

If it’s brand new just return it. Wouldn’t risk opening it up

Any thermal paste (especially Kryonaut) will pump out in 2-3 months. I highly recommend using PTM7950 instead. The temperatures will be great, it won’t pump out and you won’t have to change it likely ever.
