Probably. It only does the rolled up sleeves when it’s actively in use from what I can tell. I guess it also doesn’t make sense to have that rip up your clothes. Like people would be conscious of it.

There is a mod which gives you the free hand to roll your sleeves up or down, depending on the situation.
there are plenty of long sleeves tops though
I wish the sleeves would only be rolled up if we had arm cyberware equipped. Otherwise there’s no reason for it
Yep. The devs had four options from what it seemed like when it came to this:
1) Have an animation where your blades rips through your clothes, and have the clothes just magically repair after (cool but not very immersive)
2) Just have the blades clip through (sucks)
3) Have an animation where V will quickly roll up their sleeves and then the blades come out (this would be very cool to see imo, but after a while it would get tedious to have to wait an extra second to bring out the mantis blades vs the other weapons being a simple pull out. Plus making an animation that fits all the different variations of shirts and jackets would be a pretty big waste of time that could be spent elsewhere. Cool Mod idea though)
4) Just have the sleeves rolled up all the time.

You can, actually, V just rolls them out of the way.

I don’t know, since mantis blades always seemed like a silly design. Have a sword or spike come out the palm of your hand would be way more effective a weapon..

Always found it kinda freaky that people would voluntarily amputate their arms just to have something like this installed.
Because you have a right to bare forearms!
