An old “Office Machine”.
There were a few of them like that in the LGA775 days. Akasa made a few, so did Arctic. The idea was that a very large cooler (that’s large by the day’s standards) could fit in a smaller case *and* still wash the VRMs.

I guess this was someone trying to lower a profile for that tower on a prebuilt? I’d imagine guys ordered a whole bunch of coolers only to find out they lack like a few mm of clearance inside the case. And yes you can bend some towers yourself if you’re careful enough without issues.

That actually seems to be a decent system. The CPU cooler plus the ventilation in the side panel should keep the CPU cool and the PSU is basic, but decent. Two sticks of RAM as well.

That PSU is trash
That’s basically the PC equivalent of a car with a very heavy camber offset.
Don’t you know? This is the new CPU cooler fad, it not only looks cool but it really helps with the aerodynamics, everyone who is anyone is doing it now.
