Compressed files or changing small parts of the code but the entire module needs to be reinstalled?
the download is compressed, the 70gb is the space thats used on the hard drive, the 20gb is just the compressed data that needs to download

I think the corrupt file is the anti cheat reinstalling itself

They compressed the game installation well (unlike most other large games) So it downloads 20gbs compressed and then unpacks it to 70gb. How I understand it is faster installation for slow connections.
You can use a soft called Compact-GUI to reduce a bit the size of the game, from 70 to 46 using their strongest compression, game run still fine and multiplayer still work
20gb is for base game files and other 50gb is for updates.
