My personal ranking of these in case anyone is curious:
1. Paladin: Overall the best sniper, not only against players but also against Scorestreaks, with FMJ 2 it’s by far the best anti-scorestreak weapon in the game, takes out helicopters before having to reload. Quickscope is possible but not what the gun was intended for.
2. Koshka: The most fun sniper if you like Quickscoping, you’ll get some people mad at you with this one, the operator mod seemingly makes it even better at Quickscoping buy I honestly feel it’s not necessary.
3. Vendetta: The SDM, but it’s good, if you got a good trigger finger or crazy accuracy, this is the gun for you, I haven’t tried the operator mod yet since I immediately prestige after max level and then move onto the next gun, but it makes it full auto while prone, which sounds crazy TBH.
4. Havelina AA50: Like the XPR-50 From BO2 and BO3, but reloads bullet by bullet unless you add in Speed Loader, it’s actually a really decent gun if you like semiautos but also want high damage. Just need to be patient with the reload.
5. Outlaw: Would be higher up the list if it wasn’t so painfully inconsistent, you’re basically rolling a dice every time you shoot someone, as with the Vendetta I haven’t really tried the operator mod so can’t judge it.
6. Locus: I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with this one, but there’s something wrong, it’s not as good as it was on BO3, inconsistent but not as much as the Outlaw and feels so slow to aim, this fun could’ve definitely used at least Quickdraw 1, with the increased damage I actually think the Paladin is better than the Locus at Quickscoping, and overall it does everything this one does, but better.
7. SDM: The most painful gun to get to gol and max level, and there’s really no reason to use this having the Vendetta and Havelina, other than getting camos and leveling it up for the sake of leveling it up. Painfully slow ADS, extremely inconsistent, and horrible iron sights, I normally like the M14 style sights, but it just doesn’t work on this one, even Tactical Rifles are better snipers than this thing.
