That’s the secret ending -> The Doctor.

Thought of this after posting -> The Ambulance

Trauma team swooped into arasaka fucking tower with adam smasher present and couldnt give any semblance of a shit.

    So yes

  3. PvtThrockmorton

Full body life coverage £500/a month

They would fight corpos, however they charge an aditional 100 eddies per minute until your extracted

You’ll also have to pay for their fuel, ammunition and damaged equipment

    However…

Trauma Team has a clause in their contract about a client’s false use, like just calling them to fight. It is them who decide if a client has broken this clause or not

Hypothetically, they will not fight to protect you from the moment you enter, but they will fight to protect you and themselves as necessary while extracting you from the combat zone.

The combat would likely end as soon as TT arrived as nobody in the corporate world fucks with TT because they *all* depend on TT for their healthcare and emergency services.

That said, someone with TT Platinum coverage would not personally attack a corporate facility, they’d get a fixer to hire disposable mercs to do it for them, lending them an air of plausible deniability.

If any merc could afford TT coverage, they wouldn’t be mercs.

TT Dispatch: “sir! I’ve got a Platinum client at Arasaka Tower showing extreme distress!”

    Manager: “Arasaka…patient details?”

    Dispatch: “Vincent [redacted], 22, mercenary…”

    Manager: “nature of the emergency?”

    Dispatch: “looks like multiple GSWs…”

Manager: “uhuh…go ahead and just close that account for me…”

If you just grind gigs and ncpd scanners V could 100% afford trauma team platinum. I did for like 4 hours because I was bored and I had like over 175k just chillin

  7. LivingEnd44

The short answer is no. Trauma team will only fight for you within the terms of your contract.

  8. Colonel_Cosmetic

yes, it’s all part of the contract

  9. Mesmatrix

Trauma team may be corporate scumbags, but god damnit they have standards

  10. Gaburski

How much is TT Platinum anyway? I’d say we have enough to get a membership halfway through the game if you do all side gigs and sell weapons from time to time.

    Simple as that:
They: Tetratronic Rippler or Apogee Sandevistan?

  12. MasterNawak

V: “oh Judy… Judy why are you gay? No, no, stop thinking about Judy! I must think about something else, what what what? Trauma team thinking Trauma team and platinum card… hm… oh Mederith…. No, no, not Mederith… Trauma team! And Aurore… oh oui Aurore! Stop stop, stop. Arasaka, Platinum card… oh Rosalind… no, no… too old… but so good too. better: Rosalind and Rogue ! no, no, Arasaka…‘’ etc.

So many women, so little time!

There’s a reason TT is the only corporation that us universally liked. They abide by their oaths. They’ll rescue your ass from the fuckin black sapphire. The only time they wouldn’t come is I’d maxtac is summoned.

Honestly, not a bad idea for a new story. Protagonist is on Trauma Team, responds to a call, and finds the client in an extremely precarious situation, with questionable moral dilemmas. Could be fun.

Trauma team was the biggest missed gameplay opportunity in cyberpunk. I can totally understand that making trauma team mechanics into the final game would have been really difficult, but I really hope to see more trauma team mechanics in the next game(s?)

Mechanics ideas: rich bounty target has to be taken down quickly before TT arrives: count down before their arrival (like MaxTac), paying regularly for premium TT as a resurrection/second life, TT missions/jobs, etc.

    — TT is hired to get you out ASAP. They’re damn good at their job and are world renown for their QRF times. Ruthlessly efficient, they even do pets. They don’t care who gets in their way, just get the client out.

    — Ever since one of the corpo wars, no one screws with TT unless they want to meet the business end of a Smart SMG. If they’re confident enough to think they’re able to take TT in a head on fight, they’re either off their rocker, extremely dangerous, or both.

  17. So much stuff to pull from the setting if this game was an actual rpg…
