This could actually be the comeback of the century that Xbox needs ngl.
Because this would essentially make them a console/PC hybrid. A lot of people can’t afford $1000+ PCs, but they can afford a $500 console. So essentially they’d be getting a pretty decent gaming PC for $500 which they can play their entire Xbox library on, have gamepass on, and have PC games on. Mental.
Not to mention I’m sure this would also open up the modding and emulation scene depending on how much more “like a PC” they want to make the Xbox.
That would genuinely give them a major edge over PlayStation/Nintendo. Especially if they got steam on board.

The series X and S are as close to a PC as game consoles have gotten and with Microsoft also having windows I’d be genuinely surprised if there isn’t some kind of like PC mode or support in the next Xbox console cycle.
Honestly if I could access steam through my Xbox I’d probably never use anything else ever again.
