Probably for the best. Hasbro has been dragging D&D into the ground. Maybe a Pathfinder game from Larian could be great?
I heard that after BG3, they wanted to take a break and work on something smaller.
And the other game will probably be their next big RPG that comes after. Maybe a new Divinity? Or maybe a new IP.

A Larian made Fallout game would be astronomical! Take the franchise back to its roots, but I doubt Microsoft would allow that to happen
I would like to see their take on anything scifi. A steampunk noir would be amazing.
