I didn't think they'd sold that many, so I'm pretty happy that a co-op game is doing so well. I had such a good time playing it with my girlfriend, there aren't enough games of this kind, can't wait for the next one!

It’s nice to see people still keeping tabs on sales after a game’s initial launch. Not enough publishers do that anymore. It’s like a game has to sell a billion copies on release.

If you like this game, you might like Brothers A tale of two sons. It’s the first game from the director that created this studio and you can see a lot of inspiration and mechanics that ended up in It Takes Two.

The only not Mario kart game I could get my fiancé to sit through. She loved it and we finished it quickly.
5-star gameplay with 1-star characters. “Hey honey, would you like to traumatize our kid to make her cry instead of listening to the magical book that’s just telling us to take couples therapy? Let’s do it!”

There’s a situation where I was playing the game with my wife and my daughter was watching us try to figure it out, I said, “Honey, why don’t I shrink down and get on this side, and then you blow up, and jump on that side to launch me up.” She literally launched me into space and I got an achievement. We laughed so hard we cried!!

Was my GOTY for 2021 right up until I played Deathloop. Absolutely loved it. It gets lumped in with other famous co-op experiences, but people forget that it’s an incredibly accomplished platformer and adventure/ puzzle game too. Not a single mechanic feels wasted or overused.
Great game, finished it a few months ago with my gamer daughter. Had to talk her into it a bit, but then wouldn’t stop pestering me to play more.
The love book got annoying fast, and although the voice acting was fine it was a little too much. Other than that, a stellar game, and I played on switch which has to be the most inferior version.
I played this game from start to finish with my wife, it was time well spent. Such a terrific game from every angle you look at, they keep it so fresh by changing up the types of games and activities you do together to get things done.
Definitely play this game with your significant other or a good friend, it’s just so great!

A Way Out is also amazing. They know how to make banger co-op games! These two and Portal 2 are my three favorite co-op games.
