Trying to make a Sliquifier for a Stuhlinger cosplay can someone help identify this part for me!

   I’ve been at this for hours and I still don’t have a clue what I’m even looking at. All I know is that there’s 2 pvc pipes, metal ratchet straps and black hosing. Does anybody know what the blue disk in the middle is
   or the orange engine in the back or whatever it is it supposed to be?
