In real life, they would be using Windows Enterprise ltsc, which is a version of Windows that skips all updates except for security ones. It also does not auto update. You have to manually update. This is the OS I use, and it’s pretty goddamm good.

Do you people never update your PC willingly? I’ve never had windows force me to update in the middle of doing stuff, but I do select update and shut down when I’m done using it, if it needs it. Security updates are there for a reason.

Windows updates barely take like 5 mins now, unless it’s an entire OS update (10 to 11 for example). Compare that with Macs where it literally takes 45 mins because even the tiniest update requires the whole OS to be updated.
