About a month ago I shared that I randomly surprised my 6 y/o with Super Mario Bros Wonder. Well, she beat it.

In the beginning we played it together quite a bit. I sort of forgot about it, then one day I checked her progress and she got to the final level all on her own We played it together and she got the final blow on Bowser!

Any recommendations after this game? Princess Peach: Showtime seems like it might fit the vibe.

My 8 year old daughter just beat it! First real game she has beaten, Nintendo really did a good job on this one!

That’s so cool! We just started playing with our 6yo too! She’s really having to learn how to work as a team, and it’s not easy. I’m hoping it will develop as we play more.

  4. Well congratulations to her ! She must be really proud and you too 😊

Damn thats impressive for an 8 year. I remember getting my niece and nephew a wii and they had one of the mario party games. I played it and that shit was hard, I was like 22 at the time.

My 6 year old struggled with super Mario 2

Jesus Christ, I always forget that there’s people here that have grown up, have kids and shit, I’m still here living like a teenager

Honestly a great game. I bet she’d enjoy the other Marios. New Super Mario for DS used to be peak before Wonder

Seeing these posts on Reddit always makes me realize how unlucky I got in life with my childhood. I am envious, jealous, and bitter about it. Don’t take it the wrong way, it is more than this child looks like they are having a great childhood and are going to grow up feeling loved and wanted.

Like seriously, the parent goes out and gets this game for their kid. Looking at the background the house looks like a well-organized, fun environment. The kid is wearing a T-shirt of a character and a show they likely like. The clothes are clean, kid looks clean and obviously delighted. A parent loves them so much they take a picture they are so proud of and even post it online. Even censors their kid’s face in an attempt to protect their privacy.

Like damn, what a great job.

It’s not good for your daughter neck

My 5 year old son beat it too – very proud. But he was only allowed the game after trying Super Mario 64. Boy got 63 stars and became a master of bad camera angles!
He got the Peach game yesterday – quite easy but he’s enjoying it 😊
