Greetings from Toronto! Figured I would post an update to [my old build](https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/qmc6mo/i_am_in_flavor_country_its_a_big_country/). There’s no such thing as end-game but I’ve definitely ventured deep down the audio/ visual degenerate pit. And this is quite the money sink lol.

Since my last post (link), I made the following changes:

    • Upgrades from EVE SC208 to a pair of HEDD Type 20 3-way studio monitors

    • Switched from Martin Logan 1000W 12” subs to SVS SB3000 Micro subs

    • Switched from an LG CX48 to an Alienware AW3225QF 32” 4K 240Hz QD-OLED

    • Bought an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 RTX 4090 MiniLED Gaming Laptop

    • Transitioned from an NR200 to an ASUS AP201 to fit the Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC

    • Swapped out the mobo/cpu/memory/ cooler a few years ago

    • Upgraded from a USB 3 Hub to a Caldigit TS4 Thunderbolt Dock

    • Used a clamp-on VIVO cable snake for cable management to the under-desk desktop CPU

    • Used a desktop computer stand with wheels for the case

    • Switch to a Razer Viper V2 Pro wireless mouse and Deathstalker V2 Pro wireless keyboard

    • Picked up B&O H95 Bluetooth headphones & Beoplay EX & Jabra Elite 8 Active earphones

    • Picked up a BenQ Screenbar Halo

    • Switched from a standard to GaN USB charger

Objective here was a functional build that avoided MDF, particle board, or cheap plastic where possible.

It’s so nice to see real speakers, and nice studio monitors at that. So many battlestations, there are none in sight and I find myself wondering, are people just using the ones built into the monitor? Headphones run straight from the motherboard all the time? No thanks!

    Greetings from London neighbor!

    Why two headsets?

  4. Independent-Win-8844

    Those Hedd monitors are insane!

  5. John_Wilkes_Huth

Your monitors are worth more than my Honda Odyssey. *sad emoji* Laughing on the outside.
