Desk and monitor are completely new but I don't know what to add in terms of decorations etc to not make it too cluttered and still keep it clean.

make a storage for the wheel under the desk on the same side where it is right now, give some love to your walls. paint , posters, a clean looking shelf with a plant ? no need to go over the top but something that shows that you care about it.
