I loaded EA app yesterday and looked at all 3 Dragon Age games but I’ve learned with myself I can’t go very far back with ‘clooginess’ anymore. The QoL improvements etc.
That’s not the case with Inq., as it still looks good and feels ok, I just played the hell out of that to where I just can’t do it again. Like WoW for me.

I’ll admit, it’s been on my mind lately. But this game is like Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. It needs a ton of 3rd party mods just to get working properly. So I keep putting it off because I don’t want to jump through all those hoops yet.

If only there was a mod to skip the first part. Not saying that its bad; just that when you want to try all the origin stories, Ostagar gets a bit in your way.
Other than that, its a phenomenal game

I was just thinking about going back through all three DA games and this might push me into it. I’ve been trying to resist cause I just started Cyberpunk this weekend and don’t want to get stuck in the DA cycle at the same time.
Alcapwn65
jokes on you i just finished a recent play through

This is where Dragon Age was peak, after Origins it fell off.
Purrete
Origins is such a good game. I was never able to finish Inquisition, it just gets so boring with all the side quests/objectives, a real shame because the combat for example is really good.
Adept-Passenger605
My gf is so fucking hyped for the sequel and hopes it will come out late this year – my god shes constantly talking about it. Hope it’ll make her at least as happy as BG3 did.
kogent-501
With all these remasters, why have we not gotten a remaster/remake of this? Does BioWare actively hate money?
Swords_Not_Words_
Gem? It was ok. Originally thought t was a step in the right direction but they took 3 steps backwards after. Certainly nowhere even close to as good as BG2 which it was influenced by and BG3 blows it away. Hell, Pillars of Eternity and Divinity 2 are way better. EA ruined Bioware

I’m not gonna listen to someone who can’t take the time to spell check

I actually installed Ultimate Edition the other day, both it and original been in my library for years. But never played.
I have no idea if I even want to play it, but I quit WoW and was looking for anything
ImprovizoR
I shall.
NotHappyGusGus
But it’s all the way in The closet with my 360.
And I’m lazy

I just finished this last night
Produce-Pitiful

I dunno..maybe it’s a sign to replay San Andreas

Fun fact: dragon age origins was basically the spiritual successor to baldur’s gate at the time.
narvuntien
I did relatively recently and the combat is arse. The characters are charismatic so I see why people like it but the actual game bit isn’t for me
SuperArppis
Honestly, I love this game when it comes to narrative, but… I really don’t enjoy the gameplay. And my game is on Xbox360.
So it has been ages since I have played this one.
FidmeisterPF
I really should.
trollgore92
Still so confused about how badly they messed up the sequels.

AI on that game was horrible. Set up your party with tight ass military SEAL team fighting plans and as soon as you got into a fight with some dudes, your warrior would see an exotic bird 100 yards away and go and look while the rest of the team got slaughtered.
LuckyLupe
For the 20th time?
Goon4203D
Never did Dwarf Commonor. Only origin I never did, but never felt interested in being a commoner. Noble Dwarf always felt better.
-Smaug--
I just bought this the other day with the Steam sale. I should fire it up, it’s been a long, long time.
aesthler_
Never played it. Some care to explain the gameplay a bit?
DoubleE55
A remaster would be great.
AscendedViking7
I did recently.
Wouldn’t get past the awful combat.
Baldur’s Gate 3 scratches the itch for me a lot better.
chesire0myles
I actually just bought this and plan to start playing for the first time today. But I have analysis paralysis.
Who should I pick as my starting race/class/origin.
Don’t read into this. Just pick the one you’d choose off the cuff.
