Just wanted to share a simple and honest review of why I love Noctua products.
Without Noctua fans, I couldn’t have achieved the same level of silence. Sorry, EVGA, but the original fans felt like cheap toys in comparison.
Overall, I’m thrilled with the mod. Installation was a breeze—I simply plugged the fans into the motherboard instead of using the GPU fan pins (EVGA has a reverse layout).
I use Argus Monitor to control the fans. Interestingly, they can spin up at just 13% (~169 RPM), providing enough airflow to cool the GPU at 30-40% usage. The CPU fan behaves similarly. The PSU’s fan (not Noctua [yet!]) kicks in when the system draws at least 300W.
Despite needing more cooling for more GPU power, my undervolted 3070ti stays cool with the two NF-P12 PWM fans spinning at just 5-600 RPM. The original 3×9 cm fans had to spin at least 1200-1500 RPM for the same performance.
It’s unbelievable! I finally reached my goal.
Now, I’m sitting near a dead silent PC with enough raw power even for gaming.

GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra @ 1975 Mhz, 930 mV, Mem +500 MHz deshrouded with 2x NF-P12 PWM
