After that purchase, there are two owned copies of Portal 2 across the family and any two members can play at the same time.
In this example, if your family choose to not buy a second copy, you can play any other game in your library while waiting for your family member to finish playing your copy of Portal 2.”

FAQ says that you cannot join a Steam Family if:
Your account activity does not show that you are part of the same household as the existing members.
Whelp.

I’m on a family share now, but I prefer the flexibility of picking my 5 without affecting the others. Under this new program, we would all have to agree who the five would be.
