Fromsoft apparently doesn’t own the rights for whatever reason which is likely the main thing that’s stopped this from even getting a PC release for so many years now.
I still have hopium though. It’s one of my favorite games ever created.

The only way it’s ever going to come out or announced is via the Sony State of Play event, Sony own the IP to Bloodborne 100% so it’s not up to From Software or anyone else just Sony has the power to do anything with this franchise.
Even then nothing is 100% concrete as it’s becoming normal as of late for studios to sink in millions and still pull the plug and cancel titles, so unless it’s in your hands in front of you or on the PSN store then anything can happen from announcement to final product.

Someone back then in Sony had a grudge against Miyazaki and basically told them to make the DLC and piss off. They didn’t even bother to public the DLC ost by how hastily they wanted to be done with From. A boss that would have explained probably the most confusing part of the game was never implemented and is only hidden in the files in a placeholder dungeon.
One thing to me is clear, Sony hates to go back in their steps. They really fucking do.
Only chance for me is if Bandai buys the IP from them thanks to the huge success of Elden Ring. Why? Because Bloodborne is Miyazaki’s best work still and he knows it.

The fact that Sony won’t even acknowledge its existence most of the time is proof enough to me that they would like to move past it. Such a shame. Just had a blast blasting parries and hitting viscerals with a Dungeon optimized build a month or so ago. Would love to see increased FPS in the existing game, less of that mid-2010s FS waxy texture in the existing game, new bosses, altered setting, more lore, and renewed PvP.

Bruh Metroid prime 4 was officially announced almost 7 years ago and still doesn’t exist. I got enough problems without hopin for bloodborne stuff.
