Never understood RBG. Maybe I’m just boring. Minimalism excites me.

MSI RTX 4080 X Slim 16gb, 5800x3D, 64gb 3600mhz

The Noctua kinda takes the spotlight, lol.

    Cable management ✓

    No RGB ✓

    Nothing unimpressive

  3. I too hate RGB but cable management does have actual airflow benefits.

Aight low key, why are there two heat sink thingamawhatsit’s. There some air coolers that chonky or this some strange AF dual cpu build. Someone plz let me be less ignorant.

Needs more rats nest, otherwise 6/10

Why go white if you have a black case?. Usually it’s more expensive to go white

My build is also rather minimalistic where the half of the space is occupied by my noctua cooler and the other half by my RX 6800. I like it.

To me minimalism in a PC build still implies a little bit of an intentional approach towards a certain aesthetic rather than the absence of one. But your approach is pretty much what I do. I don’t need mine to look like anything, just let me get the specs I want without overpaying for a certain plastic shroud (looking at you, ProArt) or whatever, and then let me use it.

I personally dislike RGB. I like cases with lots of padding to deaden the noise from everything inside. I like minimalistic, clean builds.

  10. Looks kinda like my PCs! But, I couldn’t care less about what it looks like inside because my eyes are on my screen! What a concept!

If you just stare at the cpu cooler the bottom fans look like a rats nest of cables. 😭

  12. Sparkle-Wander

Extremely Serviceable, Good air flow, Cables Managed

    AAA+

  13. Lukas_Mihola

Cool build (litteraly because of the noctua fans) and good specs. Thats all I can say

  14. CaboPreto000

That’s quite impressive for what it is. 👏

  15. Hey, wondering if I can pick your brain about your performance you get with your system.

Currently on an AM4 board with a 2700X, 32gb of 3200 and a 3060ti. Looking at my options and considering upgrading to a 5800x3D, doubling my ram and snagging a 4070ti.

How does your system handle intense games under load? And how do you see the longevity of the AM4 lasting you?

Looks good. To hell with silly lights and windows.

  17. Weddedtoreddit2

These are the kinds of builds I do too. Function over form.

I’d never spend extra money on looks. I’m poor.

Though I do cable manage a *little* better.

To each their own. People have different preferences, nothing wrong with that.

  19. FunFact5000

Love it. My pc sits in closet, I have noctua d15 and those silly brown fans but it sits in closet in climate control (68f). Silent, no rgb I say love it.

Nice reminds me of when an old VHS tape gets its guts pulled out.

  21. G00chstain

Your fan orientations are all kinds of fucked up.

  22. Ok_Temperature_9281

RGB is pointless for my personal use but almost kind of cool for when friends visit. But so gimmicky lol

  23. If you’ve got a standard opaque sidepanel on it, you can’t see the components anyway so..

  24. MentionSwimming6962

    Hot take.
Noctua big block coolers > any AIO water junk

    Fight me

  25. JamieDrone

Took a hot minute to realize that the fans at the bottom weren’t just a tangle of cables

  26. RemoteLostControl

Them vanilla Noctua fans are museum quality
