Just realized I built a console

I’m constantly told by console users this isn’t physically possible. Seems to be pretty fucking common tbh. I’ve got a similar set up. I noticed you’re using PlayStation controllers. Have you explored gyroscope aiming at all?

But can it run Ghost of Tsushima

That how I mostly play my PC. I’d only use the monitor when playing shooters or RTS like games for the M/KB

Hide your antena like a decent human being.

I have a similar setup, but my workdesk is beside the TV (with the PC off the floor) with an office/streaming setup for when I need to work on things/conf call, etc.  I haven’t sat at the desk in… months?  But if I did need to work on a project it’s ready.

I remember the Playstation controller connectivity is wonky (I had trouble setting one up,)   XBox 1 controllers and a receiver dongle (Amazon; like $29 bucks I think) made life sooo easy.  Oh, and rechargeable AAs.

  6. If you’re solely using this as a console, you could use Playnite, it’s like Steam Big Picture but more feature rich with some good add-ons

Install playnite, configure it to launch in full screen mode and BOOM, windows console

I always thought Steam Machines were a cool concept, even though HTPCs were nothing new by the time they were released.

  9. Gaming with Ambilight is awesome! Have fun!
