I was about to comment the office meme: they are the same pictures.
but then I gave it a second look and noticed that it’s about the the radiator orientation and if the tubes come out the top or bottom.
that makes sense because there is a little bit of air in a aio and with the tubes at the bottom, the air will just stay at the top of the radiator, therefore no bubbling noise.
Gamer nexus made a video about it, with the result: that the pump shouldn’t be the highest part of a loop, because air can damage the pump or at least make it louder.

They are not the same picture. On the second picture it shows on top of the radiator the nozzle. If it with tubes up it’s going to make a “bubbling noise”.

Never allow bubbles to get into pipes. Bubbles will develop after certain time even in non-refillable sealed kit. Bubbles stay on top. If your output from radiator is on top, bubbles will get sucked into the AIO pump. This will cause noise at first, decreased performance later, and eventually damage to the pump.
I stopped pointing that on some of the builds posted here because I got downvoted a lot. It appears teenage boys with daddy’s budget can’t stand criticism.

as long as the radiator is higher than the pump your fine. if you mounted the radiator lower than the pump then air constantly goes into the pump and can cause more wear eventually early failure.

The water block has to be at that level regardless of whether you want water hoses to run upwards or downward. Otherwise, you might end up with air in the water block.
