As per title, I put pencil with a rubber for better stability and anti-vibration.

I think it’s okay. Sort of funny but if it stops the stress from bending the gpu I’d think it’s a win

You can buy cool little stands for it. Like $6 on Amazon.

    if its working 🙂
just keep in mind graphite is electricity conducting so you don’t want it as powder flying around your pc 🙂

If youre shaving off some costs, it should be fine

I’m going to get downvoted for this but it is what it is. This gives me extreme anxiety. Vibration can eventually cause it to slide into one of the fans. I would just get a bracket or anti sag brace worth the cost in the long run.

Like the other guy said, graphite conducts electricity. I would go outside and just find a twig or something plastic instead.

If you had enough money to buy those components, you have enough to buy some 5 dollar stand

Aw shit, you fucked up, they are already on their way. You’re already dead. Resistance is futile. /s
    Yeah it’s fine.

Brother if you can afford an rtx card you can definitely afford the 10 bucks to just buy one on Amazon lol

If you got extra Lego lying around that might be a good solution

  11. The_Alpha_Fish

It would probably be option No. 2 for me.

If it looks stupid but works it’s not stupid.

  13. Specialist-Size823

You spent all that money on a pc and use a fucking pencil for anti sag

  14. Human-Tap-8191

As long as its holding the card up, then yeah its good, I use boxing hand wraps as my anti-sag lol

  15. SeriousSkeletor

Id add at least 20 more, just to be sure

I use color pencils, pick a color ro match your build… then use low temp glue gun on both ends to lock it in place. I have been doing this for years and have 5 PCs running it with 0 issues.

  18. Also, add the benefit of micro shock absorption thanks to the build in eraser head.

  19. Temporary-Lie15

It’s not a 12-gague shell, but if it works it works.

  20. Last_Music413

I used an old eraser block and a sd card usb adapter as anti sag solution

Buy one of those hard erasers which is long enough to fit in that gap
