I've followed Cyberpunk for a long time, when it was released in 2020 I was super excited because it had been a decade since they announced it, but then all the crap happened in 2020 and I just never got around to it until now. I can't explain to you how excited I am, I haven't played it yet. This weekend I'm looking to sit down and finally get into it! Plus this one had the stickers with it! When I think about playing it I get full body chills over!!!

My advice to you is that when you create your own V, create your ideal V. This game lets you create some unique options. When building your V’s attributes, read through the skill tree and choose the skill build out you find interesting. Explore the world as much as you can, There are hidden things all over the world. Above all else is just have fun and make your Cyberpunk playthrough yours.

WARNING: May cause post-game depression and loss of appetite for all other games. Many players experience a change in their vocabulary. Symptoms include: calling people “chooms” and referring to others as “gonks”.

crazy u found this on a thrift shop. An Ultimate Edition whilst being on sale and a hard copy. Whoever was the previous owner did not like the game. Dam.

Level up using crime reports in the area. Best way to earn street cred

  9. A THRIFT SHOP?! why would anyone get rid of cyberpunk let alone a series X copy lol this game is the best I’ve played to date

Do the side quest, walk around, explore, take your time, dont rush everything all at once.

Cyberpunk is an intense experience that deserve to be appreciate fully.

Do what you want, forget the meta build, create your V like you enjoy it the most, it’s no fun when everything is too easy anyway.

    Welcome to night city 😎

Travel everywhere and only fast travel if you absolutely must. Walk around at a good pace and just take everything in. The game is one of the more immersive games I’ve ever played.

    Do police work
    Do gigs
    Don’t rush the story
Explore the world drive or ride

There are so many ways to kill the poor choombas that decide to aim at you…you just start to feel bad about them.

  13. Body Heat Radio and Growl FM. You’re welcome

What helped me when starting out and finding myself a little squishy is I leaned toward putting points in Body because your health is  based on that stat. This made me a bit hardier in those early missions so I could build up equipment, cybernetics and, eventually, the other attributes like Cool and Technical.

you can beeline the main quest through the Tower Heist and the Interlude. You’ll know it cause it will say INTERLUDE. think of it as a really long intro quest.

after that, then the game really opens up as am open world and now you can go do all the side quests and things. zero spoilers, but you’ll want that info before you do side quests, so don’t waste a ton of time on side quests until after INTERLUDE.

You can’t get every skill. Something I learned WAY too late

  17. Express_Opinion_4833

Play in a dark room and immersive yourself is my only advice

One of the best games I’ve played. You’re good getting the game late because it needs to have been updated heavily.

I’d watch some YouTube vids after playing it for a few hours if you don’t completely get it. But you’re going to have a great time with it. One of my top 5 favorite games

Walk as much as you can, Easter eggs and cool outfits/weapons can be found in the most random of places.

Take your time, don’t rush. There are three different life paths, each with their own unique dialogue. I’ve been playing for over a year and a half and I *just* started my second character.

Don’t Ignore Blue Text. You’ll come to find that Yellow text are usually Choices that move the plot along, and Blue text are for world building and lore that will loop back to the choices from before. Blue Text CAN unlock new options, and change outcomes… I’m not saying you HAVE to read EVERY text chain, just understand that skipping stuff can change outcomes…

For your first playthrough, take your time. Enjoy the sights, take in the atmosphere, visit the random noodle shops, take a look around and just explore the world they’ve built. Honestly the world, the lore, and the characters are the best part of the game, so make sure to soak that up.

Take your time with Stealth sections… Even if you’re trying to go for a non-stealth build, taking the stealth seriously early on is essential. Take control of cameras and mark enemies so they’ll stay lit on your HUD and map. Really analyze the space from outside the hostile area to plan your route. Explore the space carefully and you can find hidden caches or mission clues. You can try to outgun stealth sections if you’d like, but until you have a bit more skill points installed, that’s a good way to get killed.

Take a look at your Skill Tree and plan out your build before putting too many points into your character. You don’t want to put a ton of points into your Solo (Strength) stat only to realize you have no interest in using Shotguns, Light and Heavy Machine Guns that the stat improves. You probably have gun preferences from other games, so find out which stats boost those guns. Or figure out what kind of player you want to be: Stealthy jumpy ninja, Intelligent Tech Wizard, Biff Bulletproof McPunch’m, or whatever. Just make sure you have an idea of where you want to go before putting points into a stat you aren’t using.

Most importantly… just play how you’d enjoy playing… don’t fret too much about making the wrong choice, that’s a part of the story. Bad things WILL happen that you have no control over, so just do you best to be the person you want to be, whatever that is.

Start playing to just get accustomed to everything, and then begin researching different builds, so you can find out exactly how to build a great V.

The game may radicalize you. You may want to destroy corporations and unalive CEOs.
