Where are the Ram Slots? Anyone ever seen such a strange board? (nevermind the dust)

Maybe soldered to the board? Or underneath? If you can find the model of the board that would help a lot?

Most likely at the back, in the form of laptop ram.

This board comes with no RAM. Has to be downloaded. Cheaper to manufacture

That appears to be a Ryzen 7 4700S system – which has a soldered CPU and soldered GDDR6 VRAM as system memory. Basically, it’s a PS5 without any iGPU.

They are typically sold as OEM systems.

Good old Gtx 750 (it’s the true GOAT of GPUs)

Probably SoDIMM RAM. (Laptop). If so, it’s probably on the back of the board.

It’s also possible that the ram is soldered in and can’t be changed/removed easily.

My mother’s old desktop had SoDIMM slots and only had a single PCIe x1 port

Dude says nevermind the dust, but what if the RAM is under the dust? How can we even know for sure?

  9. Am1 system on a chip board. Either soldered on or may be on the die?

I was JUST watching a video on this PC lol : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZNxiTzYe80](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZNxiTzYe80)

It’s indeed a PS5 devkit that probably has the GPU part fried, so instead of throwing the CPUs away, they reuse them in those strange builds.

RAM is located at the back of the board, soldered under the backplate for the CPU cooler.

That’s an Xbox dev kit. Ram is on board.

Is no one gonna mention the 4-pin plug in the 6-pin CPU power plug?
