    Evolve was indeed ahead of its time, in both gameplay and DLC content (LOL), but were it released today, there’d be an ass ton of people playing it, a lot of streamers too I’d bet.

    Helldivers has a ~~semi~~ cult following because of Helldivers 1 and Starship troopers.

    Evolve is an asymmetric pvp with no cult reference or prequel fans.

    Don’t know how you can compare the of one to the failure of the other. Only similarities are that 4 players that kill big bug(s)/monster(s)

    Evolve slapped but much like DbD it got old fast especially once the meta kicked in. They had some great character/creature designs, and yeah i would have eaten a 4 player co-op pve version of it up.

    I have fond memories of playing it pre-release at an EBGames Expo with friends.

    Too bad Microsoft took it out of the store. I still play with my friends every now and then. Solid game. Updated it would be epic but games don’t get revived they just get go die
