I still have mine. First console i bought myself.
I rocked this in high school. I could listen to music cd’s on trips, and when we stayed in hotels i could hook it up to the tv and we could play games.

I remember this. I had a friend who had one.
Sewer shark was the future of gaming to us back then 😂

I have this plus the original Sega CD til they are worth money.
I got one a few years ago for 20 bucks. Works perfectly. It’s a holy grail of my collection.

I have one of those. Took it to a convention once. Does not have any anti skip.
Halvus_I
huh. I had one.

I and the Sega Nomad which was a genesis portable that came out around the same time, guess Sega was trying to see what they could do with super cheap miniaturized genesis hardware.

A guy at school had one in like 5th grade and used it to show off the future of gaming. It won some kind of prize, while everyone else was making charts and documenting science over the course of a marking period, his exhibit ran a CD video on loop and showed nothing else other than his list of CDs with it. It’s nice mostly for bragging rights, but the best combo is still the original wide Genesis/Megadrive plus CD add on due to the hardware changes in later models (including this one).

Wow, blast from the past there! Brings back memories of weekend gaming marathons

I saw that in a store once and I’m super salty I didn’t buy it when I had the chance.

When I was a kid I had Super Nintendo and a Genesis/SegaCD/32x.
The SNES and Genesis were great. The others not so much.
Warhawk137
I had one. Wonder if I still have it stashed away somewhere. Very possible it got thrown out.

I was in the presence of one, they look fucking sweet!

I still have mine. They played cartridge and Sega CDs but did not support 32X. Sega was all over the place in the mid 90s
Edit: Apparently I was wrong. Despite a clear warning from Sega that it does not support 32X, it will work if you properly attached it. Wth Sega???

I had the [Sega Mega CD](https://segaretro.org/Sega_Mega-CD) which appears to be different.
