You nay not like it, but this is what peak Mini ITX performance looks like.

Should build some type of shroud for it, or it wont cool very well.

  2. msh3loony

the “fan housing” is there for a reason, it’s to move air more efficiently through the gpu’s heatsink. but hey, if it doesn’t overheat then it’s fine

Buy a new case for 50 bucks or destroy my new expensive GPU?

    Decisions decisions.

  4. GerWeistta

Make’s you wonder if manufacturers should start listing the sizes and clearances of their products.

    Oh wait…

  5. EastLimp1693

Strapping slim noctuas to it would be way better solution, frame matters a lot

  6. remove those little fans too, put some proper 12-14 cm fans

  7. Hep_C_for_me

Meshify mini will only be slightly bigger and actually keep things cool.

  8. Cooling will suffer without a shroud, but if it works.

If temperatures becomes an issue… other [free] possibilities:
    Cut bottom lip of case
Forcibly make bottom of case into hinge
Split shroud in two, reattach in case through improvised screwdrivers holes
Remove fans, place in water bath exactly heat sink deep

Why didn’t you mount it vertically?

Get rid of the original fans completely. Then, install a pair of Artics or Noctuas at the bottom of the case. It should have way better temps.

Why do people come on here and show how incompetent they are at life?

  13. YellowFogLights

I think you’d be better off with a pair of standard thickness 120mm fans on the bottom instead of using the loose GPU fans.

The Corsair 2000D Mini ITX case would like a word with you…

At this point i’m convinced that those who can’t fit gpu in their case are either too reckless or just can’t read at all

  16. I would honestly put some standard 120mm fans on the gpu if they fit. You might see a bigger temp difference.

  17. just sold my lian li tu150 build. M-itx is cool as shit but damn its a hassle and expensive to find parts for upgrades etc.

  18. wangmerc

Dude. Is that 3070 msi trio? And LianLi Tu150? Well the both fits perfectly. See my posts 3 years ago or google “Another TU150 + 3070” for example.

  19. rednitro

If you are willing to demolish a GPU instead of spending 80 bucks for a new case…

  20. Accomplished_Duty969

Just why? Fans need housing for efficient air flow

  21. LeviiSamiss

I stripped my 3070 down to add an internet PCIe to my PC (don’t ask why I didn’t use Ethernet) and did the same thing, had to add a few extra fans in the case but temps weren’t too bad..

  22. MrSNoopy1611

I have a huge 4080 in my NR200P Max and i just looked at the given sizes

  23. RepresentativeHuge79

Buy new case that will fit gpu? NAH let’s hack this car payment cost levl gpu apart to make it fit🙄
