Did you clean the monitor with alcohol based cleaner? It’s probably wore off some of the coating

Damp a microfiber cloth with distilled water, make sure its wrung out so there’s no drips. Wipe the screen and let it air dry. Dont use any cleaning solutions in the future.

It looks like there’s residue from the cleaner still on the screen; when using it did you spray directly on the screen or a bit onto the cloth and then use that to clean?
I’ve had similar smudges before and recommend getting a microfibre cloth for screens put a little bit of water on it and wring it so it’s barely damp, and then go over it gently. May take a couple times goes but should come out. Best of luck 🤞

Alcohol-based cleaners will ruin the coating of your monitor, but the Eveo stuff you mentioned appears to be specifically for screens. So I’m guessing the problem is caused by some sort of residue rather than it the coating being ruined. So this should be fixable.
Maybe the cloth you used wasn’t clean enough? Maybe this is smoking residue?

it might be possible to remove the damaged anti glare coating, not sure though

I have always used filtered water with a paper towel, lightly get it wet with the paper towel and wipe clean and dry with a micro fiber

Use isopropyl alcohol with distilled water and microfiber cloth like others said.
Never use windex!

It will clear itself up after ARR, Thancred will never wear that horrible piece of equipment over his face again, don’t worry, it’s just a bad design choice.
