Why do you not have your mouse on your mousepad
I would put them under.your desk or behind your monitor
Move your desk 2 inches away from the wall. Put the strip behind your desk toward the wall.

Line it along the back and right edge of your desk
Under the desk has my vote. If the strip is long enough you can also loop it to hit the wall facing sides of the desk.
I’d put it on the edge face of the back right of the desk, since you already have a nice lamp of the left. Might be a nice compliment try it out, ultimately it’s what you like best
I’d lay it atop the blinds, reflect light off the ceiling, and see how that looks at night.
