I have a Ryzen 5900x and a RTX 3070 8 Gb. Do you think this is potent enough to split virtually split it in two where there is one system running two instances of Windows? I’d use it for light gaming like Minecraft with shaders and some CoOps.
Yeah, that system should be more than powerful enough to manage two VMs. The biggest limiter will probably be the 8GB of VRAM; a lot of modern games require 6GB, so you’d have to avoid those. Be prepared for performance to be worse than half your normal framerates, though, there’s some overhead involved in running virtual machines.

You cut any PC or laptop in half, it will fix all problems permanently. Also…. it shall not ever start again. Not starting again is now a feature.

Well, judging by the laptop, you seem capable. Might need a bigger blade though.

This is like it came right from a horror movie. This is just absolutely absurd. Why would someone do this to a poor old laptop? You could have installed Linux or ChromeOS Flex on it but you decided to turn it into two jigsaws pieces.
