Robot don’t have feelings they can pretend to do so but in the end it doesn’t lose anything and I gain everything altought I would sell the Tesla quite quickly.

Tbh i dont think Silverhand would mind, especially if it was made by Arasaka. Hed probably kick it himself

I don’t want a tesla cybertruck. I don’t want a shitty pickup truck that looks like a piece of commercial kitchen equipment.

It might not be cruel, but I wanna kick the shit outta that dude. I understand he’s doing it to see it the robot can maintain balance under force, but I still don’t like seeing it. You can say it’s no big deal, and I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill, but my opinion remains.

Mess him up, John! Give him the Arasaka Tower treatment.

You kick the dog and *Archangel* starts to play in the background.

    😰

Can we all agree that Tesla truck is the shittiest car of all time?

  7. Worldly_Permission78

Did you ever seen ,,metalhead” episode of blackmirror? No, thank you, keep your tesla and 1M, I would like to keep my life.

Sign me the fuck up, I’d beat the shit out of that robot dog for the million alone. Tf you think a piece of literal hardware is gonna feel something because it’s vaguely anthropomorphic? There are universities testing the effects of mounted weapon systems on these robotic dogs as we speak. Soon you’ll see them patrol your neighborhood and you’ll wanna shoot their expensive optics out with a paintball gun.

Imagine if the self driving Tesla cars become sentient like the Delmain cars💀

So I see a few bots are activating today. Multiple posts today from accounts a year old with zero comments and posts.

Certainly not cruel to kick a robot dog. Not only can it not feel any pain, it can’t feel full stop. No embarrassment, no frustration, nothing. Even if (big if) actual AI ever becomes a thing, it would understand the context of testing a new piece of equipment. It’d see videos of engineers kicking robots the way we see parents holding their kids hands as they take their first steps.

So I’ll kick the soulless hunk of plastic and steel, take the million dollars, sell the Cybertruck, and have a cool $1,000,020 to do what I want with.

    IT’S JUST A FUCKING D…

    [John shoots you]

Would be funny if the apocalypse modern scifi is so sure about is inevitably coming to punish us for our hubris or something was brought about by robots having had their fill with humans attempting to stamp their ethics onto them.

What the Dude in the picture is doing isn’t really “kicking”, more like pushing away with their foot. The guy isn’t wearing steel toed boots and kicking the robot in the side because he’d find it funny if the plate cracks.

This pushing off Balance is for now the most effective way to test for, well, Balance and how well it can be found again once being pushed off.

A few thousand runtime generations later might be rather annoyed about the humans who wanted to stop these people from employing what they thought would be the most effective learning method. And for what? Some million year old sense of Empathy because they don’t want the cute robo doggy to feel a pain the humans then didn’t have the capacity to create sensors for?

Future machines might “emphathize” partly that some of our primal drives are concepts difficult to grasp and control but honestly. Buy a stuffed animal and pack-bond with that instead of a rather primitive machine.

Future Machines would be real pissy if we went out of our way to create these robots but wasted time attempting to create them in a way to avoid the human pack-bond.

I would do it for the cybertruck alone but the mil would be a bonus.

  17. GaryGregson

Why would I want a cybertruck? Trashing these bots is a fuckin civic responsibility.

  18. pablo5426

if its a real conscious ai like delamain, yes

  19. KagatoAC
