Have it for this one, the only difference between these two runs is tWTRL and tRDWR being lower on the top screenshot.

These a-die kits seem to mostly end up with similar results, so my recommendation is not to spend more money on something like a 8200 kit and just aim for 7200\~7600\~7800 depending on the deal you can get.

My tRAS is unhappy below 45 whereas other people with lower frequency rated kits can drop lower at 8000. The silicon lottery that exists on these a-die kits will be there at multiple frequencies, all 8000\~8200 gives is an XMP profile with some basic primaries achieved through 1.45v. Save your money and roll the lottery dice on 7200\~7800, or if around 6000\~6400 at least make sure the kit is a-die before buying.

tCL32 requires a silly amount of voltage at 8000, we’re talking 1.72\~1.75v. Even with watercooling, there is no way I’d daily that, just not worth it.

7950x3D IMC has to be good for 2200 stable and then the biggest factor in 8000 being happy on AM5 has to be the motherboard. 2 DIMM is key. Outside of the overpriced GENE motherboard I’d say grab an Asrock B650M-HDV/M.2.

Here’s hoping manufacturers don’t ignore 2 DIMM with this years new motherboards 🤔

    I haven’t had any success with running 8000 on my HDV and even 7800 is a massive struggle. There might be some ITX boards that are viable for 8000 but IDK which ones.
