Dude. Like multiple times per day there’s a thread talking about Johnny’s faulty memory.
Usually devolving into a debate of whether he’s crazy, a narcissist, Saburo messed with his memories in Mikoshi, or all of the above.

It actually works in favor of Blackhand, the guy was known for completing jobs with next to none collateral damage/casualties and most of the time without even being seen.
There is a theory that implies that both MB and JS were soulkilled and JS is the predominant on the engram bc of his ego
For a more detailed answer, the theory is impliying that both were captured and only Blackhand escape (how?) and that’s why memories of the AHQ is mainly what would happen on MB Pov
On why only remain JS on the engram, is bc JS ego is far more dominant than MB
