Was extremely popular in where I come from and I spent (and still play to this day sometimes) hundreds (thousands) of hours then. Has anyone heard about this game in US at all or this gem was completely missed?

Had it when I was a kid. It’s from the same developers who make Euro Truck/ American Teuck Sim now. You can really see how far along they’ve come since HT2 launched.
I played HT2 a ton as a kid. I don’t even know where I got the game from, but I’d guess I had at least a couple hundred hours in it
