This is the first time in a long time i’ve seen this meme on reddit and it wasn’t the ‘safelite repair safelite replace’ ad. LMAO

  2. I like to buy my consoles a year or two after they go EoL. Costs less and the homebrew is always online by then so you don’t need to buy games.

I just wanna know if there will be a pro or not. There’s a rumor but that’s about it.

I broke down and bought a PS5 for Final Fantasy Rebirth. FF7 is my favorite game ever. I also realized that you only lose like $100 of the value if you keep it in good condition and resell it.

I only got a ps5 cause it was the best 4k blurry player for the price and the exclusives. Now that they’re doing pc I probably won’t bother with a ps6. A few years doesn’t matter to me.

It’s not even a question to me, not gonna waste $500 on inferior performance and depending on the game, uncomfortable controls.

  7. My PS5 has been sitting and collecting dust for years after I beat Demon Souls.

  8. Restivethought

I feel like I made the best possible choice of PS5 and PC duo while picking up a switch for cheap down the line as my Zelda/Metroid box

  9. Whydontname

I have nwvwr once been temptes to buy a ps5 while I have a PC. only console I would consider is a switch, and then it would be a modded one so I could rip everything to PC.

  10. ggunit69

Wait, a lot of ps5 exclusives under performed, ps5 probably worse came to releasing games

  11. Darkone539

My ps5 is there because I enjoy playing on a console. Most of my games are multi platform (like gta online), as my friends are there.

Exclusives, ironically, I have hardly touched.

You just be new to PC gaming! What’s a 4 year wait compared to waiting 7-15 years for a semi-stable emulator?

  13. Incudust

only reason to go console is if you like ohysical copies

  14. RentonZero

Ps/switch + pc is the best combo you can have imo. Some games I just wanna relax and play which is hard for me in a desk chair

  15. menacingmoron97

I am generally patient but I do keep a PlayStation 4 around just for Gran Turismo 7.

Tbh I was/am a casual gamer and for the price the PS5 is a great deal. Of course PC will always be the superior machine and I love all the tech in the components, but for me the PS5 hits the sweet spot and it looks good enough on a lg OLED. But I’m really exited if a pro version gets released.

Honestly I’d rather just keep upgrading my pc. I bought a series S because it’s a cheap way to play game when I’m home from uni. But there is no way I’d pay out £500 for a console just to play games like God of war:Ragnarok and Ghost of Tsushima (which is now coming to pc in may). If I have to wait a few years to play them im okay with that. Much better than spending hundreds of pounds of a system I’ll only use for a couple of times.

  18. woahitsegg

Ha, try waiting four years just to be able to afford a PS5

If my computer didn’t BRICK itself I’d be using that tho

  19. itsumotsukarete

Switched to PC recently and I really only use my PS5 now for exclusives.

I never understood the idea of “playing it properly” PlayStation exclusives are made by first party PlayStation studios who are provided proprietary Sony SDKs and know PS hardware like the back of their hands in order to deliver a very well optimized and enjoyable experience on the PlayStation. I would argue playing it properly would be playing it on the PlayStation.

I totally understand budget constraints and budget minded people though. If I had the choice between one platform it would definitely be PC so yeah I would wait to play an exclusive on PC once it’s out but since I have the privilege of owning both platforms, I don’t see the point in waiting, I personally feel like PS Studios can be trusted to deliver fairly well-developed games to play on release. Typically it’s PC that’s hit or miss and I’d rather wait a bit to see reviews and such roll in

I’ve grown up with PlayStation. Only reason I gotta pc is bc you can’t play squad on a console

  21. Western-Alarming

Gravity rush 2 baby, LETS FUCKIIIING GO

  22. CrimsonZeRose

When they release a PlayStation console with backwards compatibility for all PlayStation games then I’ll buy it until then they can kiss my…

  23. I wait for them to come out on PC, then wait another 6mths for them to go on offer.

  24. travelavatar

Of course only idiots like me buy PS5 at launch…

Don’t get me wrong if you didn’t have a PC and bought a PS5 no issues there.

Or if you had a PC and played the shit out of PS5 you got your money’s worth.

But me? I just bought a PS5 for a ton of money and never had time to use it…. and when i had to choose between PC and PS5 is because PC does higher FPS. I mean damn witcher 3 4K 120hz on oled its amaaaazing

  25. Jonny_ice-cool

The lack of availability, back then, saved me from unnecessarily buying a PS5. With their ‘exclusives’ now eventually working their way to PC, there’s really no need for a console now, outside of convenience.

  26. MrVigshot

Biggest reason I buy on PC when I can is so I don’t have to buy the game yet again when the console gets phased out. Sony’s handling of backwards compatibility is historically really weird…

  27. K1logr4m

I hope they port Demon Souls to PC. I kinda wanna play that.

  28. ParenGbyan

I don’t understand, this meme format usually depicts a difficult decision. Bro are you really pcmr?

  29. TheRuiner13

MasterRace will wait patiently for more betterness

  30. Danny_el_619

I waited for Half Live to be free on steam. Do you think I can’t wait for games to come to PC?

  31. MAnDude273

Same here. Only in my case I’m waiting on a PS5 Pro.
