Geforce Now (even the highest paid tier) kicks you off the network if you idle for 8 minutes. For adults with lives, this is a game killer, in both senses of the expression. Many games don't let you save anywhere, and it's surprisingly easy to take a little too much time to get back to your computer when the doorbell or telephone rings. Having to babysit your computer in such situations is cancer. I can't recommend the service in its current state.
That Willy Wonka thing was pretty on point. The original story is pretty fucked up as well, and the more you think about it the more fucked up it gets.

How TF can 21 OR 39 million pay be "ok". I get that we shouldn't expect these execs just to take massive pay cuts to save other peoples jobs but the EA guy could probably afford to take some form of cut. And I'm sure he's not the only one with a multi-milion salary. I think the reality is they simply don't want to – so that pretty much confirms it's all part of the plan/strategy. Aren't EA the same ones that came out about utilising AI to improve the process/pipeline? Hard to say how to "fix" this but gamers can make a statement and not buy the games?!
You might want to put some kind of warning for people with epilepsy for the part of this video where you cover darkwebSTREAMER_ I only have a history of epilepsy (rather than having any recent seizures) and I still needed to look away.
If these cuts continue and CEOs keep refusing to take paycuts, they're gonna start shutting companies soon, because without those employees, surely they can't keep turning as big a profit as they are now. You can't make games without developers and if they keep firing them, then they're gonna lose money. I don't know how they don't see that.

Re: the upcoming FF7 Rebirth review, I would seriously appreciate a section outlining whether the game (and Remake) make any sense to play without having played the original FF7 story. From internet chatter it seems like the alterations they're making to the storylines are important, so it leaves me wondering if I need to invest ~40 hours in the original before then jumping into the ~200 hours of Remake and Rebirth (which, frankly, sounds exhausting). I believe Lucy mentioned she's coming from that angle, so hopefully she has some good thoughts there too for the next FPS podcast. Thanks!
