Isn’t this Mushkin Redline Stiletto 64GB 3600 CL16 RAM kinda godly? Almost same as B-die performance but 2x the capacity.

I first tried a 4600MHz CL18 Gear 2 overclock profile which I managed to stabilize already. That profile is faster in bandwidth limited tasks for sure such as y cruncher. But obviously for gaming and more latency limited tasks Gear 1 on the 11900K is much faster.

To my surprise these kits does pretty well at Gear 1 as well. Thaiphoon burner doesn’t say what dies these are but considering it has a TRFC of 280ns it makes me think they are the legendary Micron Rev B 16Gbit dies that were in the elusive Crucial Ballistix Max 2x32GB 3600 CL16 1.35v kits. Just these are run at XMP 1.4v. No idea though.

But I don’t care what dies these are because the performance is amazing. Almost as good as a good bin B-die 2x16GB kit but these are freaking 2x32GB sticks and not even that expensive! They’re still sold on newegg for just $169 new! Wtf? Why even buy B-die this will get you 90% the performance but double the capacity. Unless I’m missing something.

Yes I can get the B-die down to sub 36ns latency if I crank the voltage and lower trfc and a few other timings but at that point they’re nearly impossible to stabilize too because of the heat sensitivity. And that’s even with 2x92mm fans and replacing the thermal pads on the heat spreaders. These Mushkin sticks aren’t heat sensitive at all on the other hand.

    Haha yeh yeh it is

I got some 3600 cl fuggin 18 but the secondaries are meh. It runs the XMP with ease. 2×16

Single rank modules tho. Fuck balls.
