I’m trying to identify the manufacturer of my sticks using Thaiphoon Burner, they are ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D35G RGB, 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4, 3600MHz CL18. I need it to find the safe voltages and how well do they scale with voltage.
I was following the memtesthelper DDR4 overclock guide, I am running at 3733MT/s (IF wouldn’t go higher than 1867) and 1.4V on the memory, 1.125v VSOC, 0.900v CLDO_VDDP, 1.000v VDDG CCD and 1.050v VDD IOD.
Anyway, I tightened tRRDS tRRDL tFAW to 4 4 16 and tWR tRTP1 to 12 6 , tested stability for 4 days already (testmem5 anta777 extreme1, prime95 large FFTs, OCCT memory and sometimes combined with VRAM test).
Now I’ve been trying to tighten the tRFC, and I noticed that at tRFC=635 i get random crashes. I can even go to 560 but the crashes become more frequent. I want to find out what my memory manufacturer is so I know if it’s safe to up the voltage a bit from 1.4.
Thaiphoon burner says it’s Hynix H5ANAG8NCJR-VKC, however, I am not sure this is right. According to SK hynix DDR4 SDRAM part numbering, “AG” after “H5AN” means 16gb, and then “8” means x8, and Thaiphoon says it’s 16Gb C Die. Is my Memory H16C or H8C ? Also, how reliable is the info that Thaiphoon Burner spits out? is there any way to confirm that info?
