Is this still playable somewhere? I used to love this game. It had a sequel too, I think! All of the LEGO browser games were sick. There was one where you drove around as an RC car in a store.

  2. Junkbot was dope as hell. I wish you could still play it.

Oh man, I miss that game so much, I would play it everytime I went to my grandparents

I just got smacked with so much nostalgia all at once I might need to lie down. This is right up there with Match Circus for games I played way too much as a kid.

  5. Absolute 10/10. Also, I have this game to thank for my online identity, and never having to use numbers or special characters in my username. Went to make an account, ‘junkbot’ was already taken. Little me stopped to think for a minute, looked at the keyboard, saw ‘n’ was right next to ‘b’, and, well, the rest is history.

This was a great puzzle game, music, design, text, lego, those homing bots were horror when i was young.

Holy ***FUCK*** that just unlocked a core memory.

Was this an official LEGO game? I know they had some bangers like LEGO Backlot, and one where you were an RC car in a toy store after closing time

  8. I remember playing that game a lot, and also another game that was also on the site at the time, but I don’t remember the name of that game.

It was a simple RTS that focused on resource management. You could construct different vehicles and builds that had different abilities using the parts and batteries on the map, like a truck that could carry parts around, a charge station that could recharge batteries, and a mech that could defend against hostile creatures.

Some levels required you to scrap the vehicles/builds you didn’t need anymore back into parts in order to build other things.

We used to play this game on dial up internet. All progress could be wiped if Gran called the house…
