Hey yall. Got the new MSI 321urx 32” oled coming. That will be my primary for gaming. Thinking of doing a stacked setup, considering a 24 or 27 above it and angled downward. This is primarily going to be used for YouTube while gaming, or web browser walkthroughs when gaming. Assuming rest of the time will just be on the wallpaper. Would yall recommend a VA over an IPS for this use case?
1. I’ll be directly in front of the monitor so not worried about side viewing angles.
2. Noticeably better contrast to better match the oled.
3. No IPS glow.
4. I’d be open to a second OLED but I feel the added cost is a waste for something not being used often, as well as potential burn in from constant still frames.
My other thought was putting an LG 16:18 to the left of the monitor. Although I don’t know how I feel about 60hz even if it is just for web scrolling.
Photo is my current setup, it’s a 27” rog oled. But giving that to my brother when my 32” oled arrives.

Where did you get the doll from?
Hey! Great setup, what GPU plush is that?
For the monitors, stacked is a really good choice. VA panels have a much better contrast ratio compared to IPS and they should be better with your OLED, you could however get a second hand or last gen OLED on sale which would have the same (don’t quote me) contrast ratio

is that skull and bones? I’m disgusted… 0/10

2. Either way you go, a cheap IPS or VA will come with its own issues. Be it black level smearing with the latter or IPS glow with the former. There will always be trade-offs.
What sort of brain damage do you need to have to put that on your desk? Good lord.
